The surface of the skin must be cleaned regularly with special products, or with a delicate cleansing milk for the body (avoid those with an alcohol base). After this type of operation, it is recommended to carry out a moisturizing treatment, even with a simple neutral shoe cream to bring the leather back to its original softness.

Drops and stains on the leather should be cleaned initially with a slightly damp cloth. If these are substances that can be absorbed by the skin, after the initial cleaning, cover the area affected by the stain with talcum powder and wait for it to be absorbed for at least ten hours.

Do not keep the leather parts too long in water. If this should happen, wrap the garment in a towel and wait for it to dry naturally. 

Keep leather items well stored in a cool, dry place.

Attention: 

The pigments used to dye leather are obtained by tanning, as part of this process mainly dark colors can transfer onto light fabrics or objects, especially in the presence of humidity.
